Ancillary bits and inspection continued

Had part of the day to get on the 41 engine today. Although the audio is not bueno ( I forgot to Lav mic ' 'cause duh. )  The long version is : You Tube Link .  The short version is that the head cover is clean compared to may hoopty rides I have had, as are the valves and rockers and springs and pushrods.  I mean nothing bent broken nor are any showing signs of excessive wear.  Fuel pump and distributor came off clean as well as the oil filler - breather tube, side cover and head cover were cake.

I also scoped the bores and there is very little rust and no sign of carbon and the plugs actually look good; even though one is broken at the ceramic. MG was a lot worse so I'll take it. Honestly I am so happy to get on this and I appreciate the massive fenders that can hold tools and a 15" screen laptop and a lot of room.  I noticed the fan (and carb) are gone but that's okay. There is a "W" shaped crank shaft nut and I may a
